Before you switch

What does it cost?
Plans are priced by school size, so a 180-student school is not paying what a 2,000-student school pays. Tell us your student count and we will send you a figure. There are no setup fees and no charge for moving your records over.
We already keep everything in a spreadsheet. Do we have to retype it?
No. Send us the spreadsheets you have and we import your students and teachers for you. Bulk import is on every plan, including School Starter, because getting your records in should never be the thing that stops you starting.
How long until we are live?
We create your school, apply your branding and set up your principal account before you log in for the first time. Most schools are entering their first scores the same week.
We have no IT person. Is that a problem?
No. There is nothing to install and no equipment to buy or maintain. On School Pro we also set up your public page, branding and domain for you, and you can update your branding and page copy yourself whenever you want.
Do parents need an account to check results?
No. Parents and students check published results on your public page using an admission number and a scratch-card pin, with no sign-up, no app and no password to reset.
Can we stop one student's result from going out?
Yes. You can publish a term and withhold a single student's result, which is what schools normally need when fees are outstanding.
Can teachers see each other's classes?
Only if you let them. Role-based permissions decide exactly what principals, admins, teachers and staff can see and do, and a subject teacher's view is limited to the classes and subjects assigned to them.
Is our data kept separate from other schools?
Always. Every school is walled off from every other school on Elemtri. Nothing you enter can be seen by another school, and it is not a setting anyone can switch off by mistake.
What if we outgrow our plan mid-session?
Move up whenever you need to. Your data comes with you and nothing has to be re-entered.
Can we use our own domain and colours?
Yes, on School Pro. Your logo, colours and web address, so the portal reads as part of your school rather than as somebody else's software.
